The Daily Mail report “Scientists ‘raise the dead’ in experiement” where zombie dogs were raised from the dead by the guys in white coats. Funnily enough I was just reading Cory Doctorow’s book “Down and out in the Magic Kingdom” this morning where he talks of the Bitchum Society, where the cure for death has meant that people tend to live rather recklessly and can be restored into brand new force-grown clone bodies, their memories being restored from backups that they have to continuously make. My experience of backups doesn’t fill me with confidence.

I’m wondering how it compares to the kryogenics (cryogenics?) movement in the States where they freeze people in the hope of ressurecting them in the future…
