A sad day for the visual effects industy as the London Jim Henson’s Creature Shop has its final gathering at bottom of Primrose Hill. People past and present are here, beer is being consumed and there’s even a life sized kermit for old times sake. These are some of the guys and gals that over the years have inspired the imagination of kids all over the world. May you all continue to do wonderful things wherever you go.

there were moments of magic yesterday, watching kids play with kermit in a pool of light from the victorian lamppost under a twilight sky…
it also made you realise how transitory the vfx scene is, so many people coming through london and leaving a project or so later.
