ID Cards to be mandatory in the UK by 2010. This is bad, really bad. Would you trust a government run body to manage everyone’s biometric and other personal details in the National Identity Register? Would you trust anyone with this job? Believe me I’ve lived in a country where ID cards were mandatory. They make things worse.

NY Times: Redhat’s quarterly profits more than double. Any news of spreading linux is good for me as I’m currently doing RHCT and RHCE courses and exams. While I was ill I missed the first part but I managed to reschedule this. I’d been waiting for around 6 months to go on this so you can imagine how dissapointed I was. My first propper spout of being ill in 9 years and I miss a course! Grrr.
